Annette Lake
Snoqualmie Region
As of early May 2026, Annette Lake is largely snow-free with some minor patches remaining near the top, easily navigable. The trail is in excellent condition, featuring recent upgrades and minimal obstacles like small blowdowns. Wildflowers are beginning to bloom, including trillium and glacier lilies.
Parking is generally available, though the lot can fill by mid-morning on busy days; roadside parking is also an option. Be prepared for potholes on the short gravel road to the trailhead. The lake is thawed and appears emerald-colored. Visitors should expect a moderate climb with some cooler breezes near the lake.

Lots more snow on the trail, microspikes and poles recommended. Some of the chutes had rollerballs so crossing early in the morning when everything is still cold is best. Some blowdowns to crawl under...
