The Chelan Lakeshore Trail is largely snow-free and passable as of late June 2026. However, hikers should be prepared for overgrown vegetation that may require long pants and sleeves. Several sections of the trail have washouts and mud/rock slides, particularly between Flick Creek Falls and Stehekin, though these have been made passable thanks to trail work by WTA and the Forest Service. Small red flags and cables have been placed to mark the new trail routes in some of these damaged areas. Berry bushes, including huckleberries and thimbleberries, are abundant along the trail. The road access is reported as suitable for all vehicles.
