Dungeness Spit is experiencing generally good trail conditions, with no snow reported as of August 7 and June 30. The road to the trailhead is suitable for all vehicles according to both reports. Crowds appear to be a factor, with the parking lot nearly full by mid-morning on a weekend in August 7, and the early trail somewhat crowded on a weekday in June 30. The farther one travels from the parking lot, the fewer people are encountered. Large flocks of Western Gulls were observed gathered on the beach in August 7.
