Granite Creek Trail to Granite Lakes

Snoqualmie Region

updated 4 days ago

As of March 22, 2026, the Granite Creek Trail to Granite Lakes is experiencing high water levels and numerous stream crossings, many of which are difficult to navigate dry. Significant blowdowns begin about 1.5 miles in, requiring scrambling over or under. Snow, reaching knee to waist-deep, starts shortly after the blowdowns and continues to the lakes, with the final approach being trail-less and prone to postholing.

Earlier reports from February and early March indicated packed snow and ice, with microspikes and poles recommended. Some sections were muddy. Road and parking conditions have generally been good.
