Lord Hill Regional Park

Puget Sound and Islands

updated 3 weeks ago

Lord Hill Regional Park conditions are generally good with well-maintained trails, though mud can be present, especially after recent rain. Expect some muddy sections on trails, particularly lower areas and near creek beds, as reported on March 14th. A snow layer was noted on trail sides on March 14th, but this is unlikely to persist.

Trail obstacles are minimal; a fallen tree on the Start Up trail requires a slight detour, as noted on March 14th. One report from April 29th mentioned a bear warning sign at the north trailhead, advising caution. Parking availability varies; the lot was busy on May 10th, but surprisingly open on April 29th. Trail names and intersections can occasionally be unclear, particularly on less-traveled routes like Wayne's World, as experienced on March 14th.
