Mount Ellinor
Olympic Peninsula
As of June 26, 2026, Mount Ellinor's trail is largely snow-free, though slippery rocks are present, especially when wet. The upper meadows are blooming with wildflowers. The road to the lower trailhead is in excellent condition with minor water damage and some potholes reported, while the road to the upper trailhead is suitable for most vehicles but requires caution, especially on the final spur which is rockier. Parking at both trailheads can fill quickly; arriving early is recommended. Reports from May indicated significant snow and ice, requiring spikes and poles, but this has since melted.

Wildflowers are starting to bloom! There was a small, easy to cross patch of snow just before the summit but otherwise the trail was snow free. Trekking poles were helpful.
