Boulder River
North Cascades
As of April 26, 2026, the Boulder River trail is muddy with several downed trees requiring navigation by climbing over, under, or around. Reports from April 23rd and April 10th note these blowdowns can be bothersome. The access road (FR-2010) remains pothole-ridden, but passable with a sedan at slow speeds. Parking at the trailhead is limited and fills quickly, especially on weekends. Water crossings are generally easy to navigate, and waterfalls are flowing well. Snow is no longer a concern.
