As of March 22, 2026, Heybrook Lookout is experiencing significant treefall, with 15-20 large trees and numerous smaller ones blocking the trail. These obstacles are manageable but require care. The trail is largely snow-free with some muddy patches. Parking was about 50% full on March 22nd. Earlier reports from March 13th noted fresh snow, recommending microspikes, contrasting with later reports of no snow. Treefall was also noted in late January. Road access is generally good.
