The Ingalls Creek Trail is currently passable with some significant obstacles. As of August 28, there are hundreds of downed trees making the trail difficult to impossible to navigate past the 8-mile mark. Prior to this, trail crews had cleared brush and logs up to about 9 miles from the trailhead as of July 31, and the trail was reported to be in good condition with no logs on trail in the first 8 miles on July 4. Wildflowers were noted between Longs Pass and Ingalls Creek on August 8. The road to the trailhead is suitable for all vehicles, with only minor washboards reported on August 8. No bugs were reported in late July and August reports.
