The Little Mashel Falls trail is currently in good condition, with no snow reported. The road is suitable for all vehicles. There are conflicting reports regarding the upper falls. One report from July 16 states the trail condition deteriorated to the point it wasn't safe to pass, and a clear view of the falls was not possible. Another report from July 23 mentions being told the trail to the upper falls has something blocking it.
The steepest parts are when descending to the falls areas, which are relatively short. Some stairways built on the trail to the lower falls are in disrepair, creating large step-downs as of July 23. Some rocks near the middle falls can be wet and slick from spray, mud, and algae as of July 23.
