Mailbox Peak - Old Trail
Snoqualmie Region
As of May 8, 2026, Mailbox Peak's Old Trail is in excellent condition with dry ground. Recent reports from April indicate snow has largely melted, with only a few patches remaining on the final push to the summit, not requiring microspikes (April 19). However, earlier reports from mid-April (April 18) mention significant snow coverage, especially in the boulder field, recommending microspikes and poles. Parking can be very full, with reports of overflow parking on the road and at other trailheads (April 25, April 18). The trail itself is consistently steep and well-marked, with occasional puddles and mud, but no major obstacles.

No snow and steep as ever! Beautiful views at the top.
