Trail conditions are generally good, with minor blowdowns and some overgrown sections reported. North of Indian Pass, several huge blowdowns were tricky to get past July 19. Between Lake Janus and Pear Lake, there were some trees over the trail but nothing major. The Cady Ridge Trail has about 10-15 blowdowns.
Roads leading to trailheads appear to be in good condition. The road to Stevens Pass is suitable for all vehicles. The road to Little Wenatchee Trailhead is rough but passable, and was described as suitable for all vehicles in another report.
No significant water crossings or bridge outages have been reported on this section of the PCT. One report mentions that water crossings can be difficult on the Foam Creek Trail, but this is a different area. For the PCT section itself, water access is generally easy.
Wildlife sightings have been notable in recent reports. Bears have been seen frequently, with seven individuals spotted over a weekend in late August. Numerous wildflowers were also observed, and pikas and grouse were seen in mid-August.
