The Poo Top Trail is currently very overgrown, particularly the Hidden Forest section, to the point where navigation is difficult and a machete might be useful as of June 25, 2026. Despite this, the rest of the loop, including trails like Chirico, West Side Road, and Poo Poo Point Trail, are in excellent condition. Wildflowers are abundant along West Tiger One and down towards the Glacial Erratic, with notable sightings of Columbia Tiger Lilies, daisies, and foxgloves. The South Launch Pad on Poo Poo Ridge also offers a beautiful display of flowers with views of Mount Rainier. Parking was ample in the morning, with only a few cars present before 8:15 AM.
