Dwight's Way is currently experiencing significant spiderweb activity, particularly in the less-trafficked sections, with reports noting one every few feet as of March 26. The trail itself is generally in good condition, with some minor mud puddles and fallen trees reported on April 27. Wildflowers have begun to appear, noted on April 27, and a few small brooks are still trickling as of February 9. Snow was present in early February, reaching close to a foot at the summit of West Tiger 1 as of February 15, but much of it had melted by February 9. Parking was plentiful on a Sunday morning as of April 27.

As of March 26, Dwight's Way was heavily covered in spiderwebs, with the reporter breaking one with their face approximately every five feet. It was recommended to bring a stick for protection.
As of April 27, the trail had a few minor mud puddles and fallen trees. The Preston Trail, which connects to Dwight's Way, had numerous blowdowns as of April 27, though the trail was still passable.
On a Sunday morning as of April 27, there was plenty of street parking available. However, as of February 15, the main Tiger parking lot was a sheet of ice, requiring assistance to exit.
As of April 27, the Poo Top Trail and Preston Trail have been rerouted, and the description needs updating to reflect these changes. The last part of the trail to the hut involves navigating through blowdowns on the Preston Trail.
