Bandera Mountain

Snoqualmie Region

updated 2 days ago

As of late June 2026, Bandera Mountain's trail is largely snow-free, though patchy snow may persist on the north side of the ridge. The road to the trailhead is in good condition, but parking lots fill quickly, especially on weekends.

The trail is generally well-maintained until the split for Mason Lake. Beyond this, it becomes steep with rocky sections. Hikers report losing the trail near the summit and navigating boulder fields, with some suggesting following the ridgeline. Wildflowers are abundant, and berry picking is anticipated soon. Bugs are present, particularly after leaving the forest. The summit of Little Bandera offers excellent views.
