Big Creek

Olympic Peninsula

updated 2 weeks ago

As of July 22, 2026, Big Creek's trail is in good condition, largely shaded, with flowing water. Expect one downed log that's easy to navigate around, reported as of July 12. Parking was ample on weekdays but overflowed to the road on Memorial Day weekend (May 24). The pit toilets are clean, though hand sanitizer may be needed (May 24). Reports conflict on trail difficulty, with one calling it a "real workout" with a steep two-mile incline (July 11), while another describes it as a "good workout, but not too steep" and perfect for families (July 12). There are marked noxious weed areas.
