Cedar Butte

Snoqualmie Region

updated 1 week ago

As of March 19, 2026, Cedar Butte is experiencing significant blowdowns and scattered branches on the trail, with one particularly large blowdown requiring an upslope climb near the summit. A stream from snowmelt is also running across the trail in one section, necessitating bushwhacking (reported March 19). The trail is mostly snow-covered in flatter areas, transitioning to snow-free with patches near the summit. Parking at the Rattlesnake Lake trailhead is available and typically requires a Discover Pass. Reports from February and January indicated dry conditions with minimal snow and only minor, easily passable blowdowns.
