The Far Country trail is in good condition with no significant obstacles reported. The road to the trailhead is suitable for all vehicles, and parking was plentiful on September 11. While the falls themselves were dry as of August 16, the trails offer a pleasant ramble through the woods with some elevation gain. Bugs were not a major issue in August and September, with only minor reports of stagnant water areas having some insects on August 25.

As of August 16, Far Country Falls was completely dry and not even a trickle. No later reports have mentioned any water flow since then.
Yes, the road to the trailhead has been reported as suitable for all vehicles on September 11 and August 25.
Parking is generally plentiful. On September 11, there was plenty of roadside parking available around noon, with only a few cars present. At August 25, parking lots at other trailheads on Cougar Mountain were also not full.
As of August 25, there were a few blow-downs that had not yet been cleared, including one in front of Doughty Falls. No other specific trail obstructions have been mentioned in the reports.
