Multiple blowdowns were noted along the trail, though they were easily navigated. Mosquitoes were present, particularly around Peggy's Pond, and creeks were at low levels but flowing. Much of the Alpine Wilderness, including this area, was closed due to the Three Queens Fire as of August 11.
